The main purpose of the report is to understand the different techniques that are required in the respective company that can help marketing department director in leading the company along with the proper traits of leadership in the entire organization as well. The structure of the report will include the different issues that have been faced by the entire company due to the leadership strategies applied by marketing department director and the problems that have been faced by the company will be discussed as well. The different techniques has to be properly ascertained as this will help the company and the employees of the entire company to take proper steps in solving such issues in the company as well. Issues identified and faced by ABC Global Company Stacey Busayo, the marketing director of the respective company named ABC Global Company wherein her main job was to properly lead the extension of the business activities of ABC Global Company in the different parts of the world. The main vision of the respective company was to develop proper revenues international in nature from different regions that are significant in nature. Marketing department director performed well in the first three months of joining the office wherein she developed a proper understanding of the nature of the different issues that were involved in the company. Marketing department director did not have any kind of mining experience previously and she moved to Australia from South Africa with different experiences in the global team for the development of the different projects such as tourism, agriculture as well as retail sectors. In the recent era, the other companies in the global world are developing strategies of expansion, but ABC Global was not having such strategies of expansion and they were lacking in it (Rebore 2013). The other issue was the autonomy degree among the professionals of the company and there was no integration as well as business communication between the employees of the respective organization. Marketing department director realized that the method that is used is not an effective as well as efficient method of expanding the entire business and these will not be effective in nature as well. The marketing department director conducted a proper analysis on the different impacts that are making the activities compli cated in nature. The managing director of the respective company prepared different strategies and the senior partners of the company has accepted the viewpoints of the global expansion but there were few higher officials who did not agree to the viewpoint of the marketing department. The marketing director of the respective company identified two senior partners who properly identified the value of the expansion strategy (Rebore 2013). Furthermore, there were issues between the two senior managers as well as the marketing director of the organization as the two of them were keen on properly following the approach of word of mouth and the marketing director did not accept such method and she felt the business is properly built on the knowledge of different expertise who have proper knowledge in mining. According to her, the proper determination of the project will be done by the professionals itself. She properly pointed out the different potential problems that can be a huge challenge for the business as well as the project. Literature Review Change management According to Ward (2016), in order to properly adopt the change management strategy in the organization, this is essential to bring positive changes in the organization. The employees has to be involved in the process of change that is required to be brought in the process of change of the different decisions that are taken by the management. Proper and effective delegation of task is essential as this will help in bringing proper change in the management of the organization in the future. Daft (2014) commented that it is the duty of the higher officials in the organization along with the marketing director of the organization as well to properly ask the different queries and the inconveniences that are faced by the employees as this will be easier to understand the issues and solve them as per the needs. The management of the organization has to include every layer that needs change as this will help in bringing transformational change. Transformational Change management According to Daft (2014), proper transformational change management is required in the workplace as this will help in improving the overall performance of the organization and strengthen the behavior of the individuals as well. ABC Global Company has to properly implement the different programs that are related to the change management of the organization as this will help in improving the overall performance and build proper capabilities as well as strengthen the behavior of the individuals in the workplace as well. However, on the other hand, Ward (2016) commented that the marketing director of the respective company has to implement such strategies in the organization to strengthen the health of the overall organization as well as helping the clients in attaining proper excellence with the help of managing the health of the organization as well as performance of the company with equal firmness. Leading change in global mindsets ABC Global Company was not at all strategic in their approach and this did not contribute to the bottom line profits as well. The employees of the organization were not at all focused towards their work and due to lack of coordination the objectives were not achieved by the organization as well. There is no proper marketing of business and due to less autonomy the respective company did not able to implement the different changes in the organization. This is the duty of the higher officials in the organization that they must take care of the different strategies that will help in expansion of the business. However, such steps were not followed by the respective organization (Daft 2014). Leading change in global teams There was no change in the global teams in the respective company as the approach of the company was informal in nature and there was no prioritization as well as rationalization of the employees in the organization as there were no clear objectives of the employees. There was no expansion as well as development in the organization as the change that was brought by the employees along with the higher officials did not lead proper change in the entire organization. The top management teams as well as resistance management in the organization did not work properly towards achieving the different objectives as they did not work jointly in achieving the objectives of the entire organization. Issues in the leadership style of ABC Global There were different issues in the style of leadership in the respective company that has been properly pointed out by the marketing director of the company. The marketing director did not possess proper communication and integration strategies that are required in making the business successful in nature (Rebore 2013). She should have properly pointed out the mistakes that were taking place in the company and solve them with proper implementation of different strategies but there loopholes in the leadership style of the marketing director who was appointed for 3 months for taking entire responsibility of the global expansion of the company. She just analyzed the different happenings that were taking place in the last three months and analyzed about the issues that were faced by the organization. This is not a proper leadership style or approach that is followed by the higher officials of the respective company. The main concern of the leadership of the marketing director was the concern regarding proper communication that was not followed by the management officials and this led to wrong decisions in taking proper information as well (Fletcher, Amber and Gregory 2014). There were attitude issues and faulty assumptions made in the company wherein only the marketing director of the company has taken the different decisions herself and after taking all the decisions herself she has consulted the higher management officials and this is the challenge for the entire organization. She has just collected the data from the last three months and did not develop any effectiveness in the managerial context (Rebore 2013). The other organizations in the competitive market were expanding in the global economy without much difficulty but there was no development of the employees and there no management of the stakeholders as well in the respective organization (Kochan et al. 2014). The marketing director of the respective company tried in understanding the different issues that has been faced by the organization along with the employees of the organization as well (Lawton, Alan and Iliana 2015). The approach that was followed in the organization was not following the bottom line approach and she has proper knowledge that this was a tough task and this cannot be achieved without proper support from the employees of the firm as well (Latham 2014). The marketing director of the company tried to point out the different issues that was faced by her as well as the management team and tried to explain the different issues to the higher authority member as this will help in resolving the issues (Ciulla 2014). The issues that have been faced by the company along with the other employees both higher, middle and lower level employees are discussed as follows: There was no proper development of the effectiveness in the managerial functions as the marketing director did not try to accomplish the goals as by becoming the proper leader. Proper prioritization was not being made by the director of the marketing department and this has affected the strategic thinking of the employees as well (Fairhurst, Gail and Stacey 2014). The main aim of the company was to implement strategies that will help them in developing proper global economy but there were issues in the work effectiveness of the entire company (Ward 2016) The marketing department director did not have the quality of leading the employees and this was a huge challenge for her in the company. She should have properly pointed out the different issues that have been seen by her while working with the employees of the organization. But the method that has been used by her was not up to the mark and this created huge issues for the entire team as well (Northouse 2015) Proper development of the different employees in the organization was not up to the standard as the proper identification of the change was not done properly by the marketing director. She did not manage the stakeholders as well as the employees properly and there was no remedial measures taken as to mitigate such risks from the company as well (Heikka et al. 2013). Main issue in the leadership approach of ABC Global Company The main leadership issue that was faced in the respective company was regarding the communication process as well as the proper method of leading and managing the team (Northouse 2015). The marketing director of the respective company did not take proper steps in the process of the communication and this created huge issues in the organization as well. The issues that were found was relating to the process of improper communication wherein the leaders of the organization did not communicate proper information to the employees regarding the global expansion of the entire company (Makaroff et al. 2014). The higher officials of the company should have properly implemented the different formal communication strategies such as top down approach or the bottom top approach wherein the employees of the organization should be given fair chance in expressing their views and the incapabilities in performing the task as well. The global expansion in the mining sector required proper strategies and experienced individuals as this will help in solving the different issues in the mining sector. However, such steps were not taken by the marketing director and she just went through the reports of the last three months and found that there were different issues in the reports and she directly consulted the higher department managers and this created huge issues in the organization as well. The marketing manager could not able to handle and manage the team properly as well as she did not collect proper information from the employees in the organization. The development of the employees depends on the proper leader as well as the proper leadership style, but such system was not followed by the respective organization and this did not help in the global diversification that was planned by the company. Vision for global expansion strategy The leadership issues that were faced by the respective company have to be properly solved by the employees of the organization along with the help of the higher officials in the organization. The proper leadership skills are essential in nature in the organizations as this will help in providing the employees proper guidance as well as delegating the different tasks as per the priority basis as well. The four steps can be followed in the formation of creative leadership in the respective organization wherein the necessary steps has to be followed such as: Proper setting of goals is essential and it has to be followed by the respective organization as well as this will help in setting the different goals proactively and the proper deadline that is required to meet such needs as well as requirements. Proper delegation of the tasks is essential and it can be done by the entire organization as well as this will help the organization in making the works more productive in nature. The proper delegation of the tasks in the organization can provide empowerment to the employees as to take proper decisions in different kinds of tasks Working on the tasks that will maximize the unique value wherein the marketing manager of the organization will prioritize the different tasks that are important in nature and that will help in gaining proper competitive advantage as well. The leader of the respective organization named ABC Global Company could have followed the steps such as: Building morale and improving satisfaction of employees by understanding the issues that are faced by them in the organization and solving the issues with the help of implementation of different strategies as well (Bolman, Lee nd Terrence 2017). Proper coordination among the employees is essential and necessary in nature as this will help the managers in understanding the requirements and solving the queries with implementation of strategies (Shapiro, Joan and Jacqueline 2016) Proper delegation of the difficult tasks by the managers of the team as this will help the team as well as the entire organization in identifying the organizational needs and requirements (Avolio, Bruce and Francis 2013). Proper building of strategy is essential in nature to be made by the entire company as this will help the managers and the employees of the organization to make the entire business successful in nature. The marketing director of the company has to properly analyze the different techniques and methods as this will help in focusing on achieving the global expansion of their company and this will be achieved with proper direction through the actual support that is necessary in nature (Daft 2014) Lastly, the data has to be properly gathered by the employees of the organization wherein the data plays a critical role in the decision making process. Recommendation Therefore, it can be recommended that proper leadership is essential in nature and it is required to perform the different activities effectively in the organizations. There were different issues that have been faced by the organization as this has affected the entire business of the organization. The leader of the organization named ABC Global Company has to properly follow the different processes of proper and effective leadership in order to perform the tasks effectively and communicate properly as well as this will help in global expansion of the company as well. The respective company has to expand the business globally with proper leadership approaches as this will help in achieving the goals and improve the overall performance of the business as well. The global expansion of the entire company is possible when there will be proper cooperation among the employees of the organization and this will help in achieving the different objectives as well. The strategies has to be maintained properly by the company as this will help the employees along with the organization to properly integrate and cooperate in development of the essential projects. These are the different ways through which the change can be achieved in the organization and this will create a dynamic environment for working in the entire organization as well.
